About Me

Hi!

A few of my favorite things

A few of my favorite things

Thanks for visiting my site. My name is Janessa, and I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated vegan traveler, writer and event planner.

I chose the name Epicurious Vegan because I have an innate curiosity about the world and live to indulge in and celebrate the small and wonderful things this life and this world has to offer. And because as a vegan, I try to do it all as ethically and compassionately as I can.

I’ve co-founded and ran Modified Style, a non-profit fashion show in Portland (still running, under different ownership) as well the world’s first international vegan blogging & social media conference, Vida Vegan Con (2009-2015, RIP). I like creating and organizing events that make a difference.

Contact me at epicuriousvegan at gmail.com  with questions, comments, and inquiries.

  • Your story is truly inspiring. We thought you might be interested in the new book by noted Catskill Animal Sanctuary (http://casanctuary.org) Director Kathy Stevens. Picking up where she left off in her first acclaimed book, Where the Blind Horse Sings, Kathy Stevens inspires us in her second book Animal Camp (http://animalcampbook.com) with life-altering lessons shared by the animals in her charge and a plea to see them for “who,” not “what,” they are.

Please share the press release, images, video, and social media ready status messages at http://go.markandphil.com/animalcamp. Interviews, galleys, and private tours of Catskill Animal Sanctuary with the author are all available upon request.

    All the best,
    Sabrina
