Dijon Basil Burger with Chilled Soba Noodle Salad


I don’t have time for too much these days, but one thing I always have time for: FOOD.


Sweet sweet food. God, I love food.


My roommate and I had a ridiculous shopping trip to Whole Foods, where we spent way more money than was necessary and bought way too many fancy sauces and bulk foods. It was great. I feel dirty.


Her eyes alighted on the Gardein Burgers in the freezer aisle. We knew we had to try them. Once we got them home and spent roughly 18 hours putting away all our groceries, we dug into lunch.


  • Gardein Burger
  • Keiser Roll Bun
  • Horseradish Dijon Mustard
  • Basil leaves
  • Romaine Lettuce
  • Red Onion


My roommate is gross and put red cherry tomatoes on hers.



We paired the burgers with a Cold Sesame Soba Noodle Salad, courtesy of Colleen Patrick-Goudreau’s recipe from The 30 Day Vegan Challenge.
